I don't want to create another post but I have the same question. Sorry to hijack the topic. I have around 100 x 24 x 24 tank. I am currently running 4 AI Hydra 32. It's a mixed reef tank (70% are SPS).
I want to add some more lights, what would you recommend?
Should I get 2-36" T5 hybrid? Or I should get another LED lights?
I heard about Herifi, but I'm not sure what specific light of Herifi I should buy.

Thank you for the recommendation.

I would look into Quanta Pro bars, the other bars are okay for fill light, but if you need something for growth, then the Quantas are the way to go. Just reach out to Luca Ana he’ll help you pick a good spectrum that will fit your needs.

I'm on the fence.
Not sure what the Pros And Cons of adding T5 vs adding LED bars. The only thing I'm aware of is the T5 will consume more electricity

The
Hi all! Was planning to get a new frag tank up and running and was going to go with a custom 30x12x12 inch tank from advanced acrylics. I'm currently running 2 kessil 360WEs over my 45g tank (overkill but helps with keeping my light intensive nems). I plan on growing primarily mushrooms and softies in this tank. Since it is an AIO system, the actual usable area for coral in this tank is 29x8.75 in.

I was thinking of using either 2 kessil 160s or 2x 24 inch oprhek or3s (not sure which color combo). Not sure if 24 inches would cover a 30 in tank. Anyone have any experience with orpheks? For a long and narrow tank I believe strip lighting would be better suited for it. Was also considering bumping up the tank to a 36x12x12 to just do the 36 in orphek.

Anyone have experience with advanced acrylics as well? First time trying to order something from them.
OR3 are thin and have great color

I think you will be happy with the Quanta bars. I've been running 2 Meso Blues since they came out. The pop is nice and the price is great. You can also use them as supplemental lighting on any future upgrade.

I would easily use Quantas over T5's any day, but I understand the power of T5's and how stupid easy they are to use.
