I've been updating my tank with more coral stuff and the colt that I got from Daniel is growing CRAZILY...i don't know if its the typical rate of growth, so maybe its normal...or below normal...but I'll have an update with pictures tomorrow.

So here we go - a couple of pictures. I ended up re-wiring the tank so i can do a "moonlight mode" for night. I ended up moving a rock around so I can take some pictures of the anemone that decided to hide. The daisy polyp (Id?) isnt as blossomed as it was prior to me moving the rock...but ehh, it is what it is. If anyone wants any other specific shots to see how the 50$ Diy LED is working, let me know.

Explain coraline growth ..or characteristics per say.. if your talking ant growth, the best example I guess would be my frag disc. It started bare then a week after my light setup I found brown growth followed by green then purple

The tank looks sick man...did u give up on the clowns and leather? Lol
Lol yeah, after 2 weeks, still no play.

Mad - Go for it! 9 bucks a puck, you can't really go wrong. And again you dont have to attach em to heatsinks. Take a piece of plywood, that would work too!

Funny you ask.

One of the R&D Guys emailed me recently - turns out they just released a 3 watt version, which comes plug and play...Imagine the Cree DIY led's, but sold individually and a bit easier to wire up (as it has its own driver).

As far as updates to my tank, I realize that I shouldn't move stuff around and so yeah..this would explain why I only get coraline growth and none of my other coral to spread.

the Anemone has died due to my lack of water changes...i got lazy one week and my BTA said bye bye.

pics this weekend.
