How much are the 3 watt leds and where could I get them?
Gonna be a learning experience as I do not know how to wire them

Sorry for not responding sooner. You can get the 3Watt ones from the following vendor

as per wiring these two up, i have no experience doing so - as I dont have em. But i wouldnt mind lending some input, or im sure someone else here would be able to point you in the right direction.

I do know that the 3W has a built in driver, so you could probably get away with doing the same thing I did.
