Did you lost any corals during your move? Can I get detail plan you did during moving? Thanx
Not much too it. I saved as much water from my system as possible. Had about 30 gallons of ready to go Scripps water just in case. I chucked the sand completely and put in all new. That's critical IME, once you stir up your sand its trashed. Replaced my zeovit completely and carbon too. Didn't loose any coral but a few fish died, probably from lack of air and stress. They were in buckets for 6+ hours. Some things browned out but color returned quickly.

Love the tank! I dig that you use halides! I find my sps prefer them over LEDs. Following along :D

nice tank!!! never seen a branching GSP before where'd you score that???
It's everywhere in San Diego. Go to any LFS down here. Started as a wild-collected piece of Briareum asbestinum and about 7 years later it became a super common coral. Here are the two original mother colonies at Aquatic Warehouse...

Original wild-collected colony on right. 7ish years old. Fragged more times than can count.

2nd mother in larger tank. Fragged from the original.

Brief update. I have been slowly removing my coarse gravel, it is a nutrient trap and seems to be making bubble algae go berserk on my rocks. I siphoned all but a thin layer, I may take it all out completely and run bare bottom.

Colors doing better, bubble algae slowly going away thanks to a foxface and about 10 emerald crabs. Just dosing start, bak, and sponge power to see if I can help the colors bounce back.
