Acropower

I've been reading up on this supplement and it seems like majority of the people who use it are having good results. Im going to purchase a bottle today, although people say it drops your alk down a bit. How much of a decrease? My alk is constantly 8.6. Im worried to dose it causing a big alk swing. Should i raise my alk to a higher level like 9 to 10 dkh gradually first so when it does drop the alk,its still in the ideal levels? Inputs please. Thanks

I dose 15 mls weekly of acropower and haven't noticed a change in my alkalinity... although I'm only testing once a week or so. Usually between 8 and 9.

Maybe your Alk is dropping because your Acros are growing and the demand on Alk is higher?

My alk is constant with acropower. Dose it daily and watch the alk for the first week and adjust dosing accordingly, if no adjustments are needed then great. Done....lol

Um I can't say that I can... although they all look colorful? Sorry I'm not much help but it doesn't seem to be hurting anything. I am only doing 15 mls on a 150 gallon system per week, and I know some that dose more than that per gallon.

That makes total sense.
Im going to document my experience with acropower. Going to grab a bottle right now. My acros polyp extension is poor and colors are somewhat pale. I'll keep you guys posted. Once i start dosing daily, i'll test my cal, alk, and mag daily to see if theres any drop. Thanks for the inputs guys.

My system is a small nano, water volume is probably only 12-14 G as most. Its a 22g aio.

10 mls in a 125 gallon display and 30 Gallon sump. Why?

No sir, weekly. I am only with my tank on the weekends right now so I dose 5 mls Friday and then 5 more on Sunday. Corals look great. I just noticed my only chalice is starting to get some crazy colors!
