well you can use any of them for that. it depends how much are willing to spend. You could go with the RK light for $99 and start building to a large system or you can get the AC Apex for around $450 or the RK elite for around $450 so it is really up to what you want. I like them both and I have dislikes for all of them. I have the AC 3 and I like it a lot. I have a RK Light got my frag system and it works good. Na not you can get the net module for the Light now so there all good just depends how much you want to fork out now.

Go talk to Tom at SoCalTropical.
He can sell you anything you want at a very good price.

If it were me, I would get an Apex.

good luck

Currently it will allow you to check on your system, receive email alerts/alarms, view data logs/graphs, and with the planed release of the 2.0 firmware, you will be able to control the system remotely.

I feel that my APEX is the best $$ spent on my tank. Since I have installed that, I have not had to worry at all about my tank, and know that at all times it is running properly and efficiently because the programing (tho not the easiest) has allowed me to configure my tank the way I want it to be.

I have had experience with both of the units and they both have great options over each other, but i truly feel the apex is the better unit.

HTH
