I have 3 over my 150g 5x2x2 about 12" awl, 35/45/45 - W/B/RB I would start off with 20/30/30 if there is coral in the tank already.

If there is no coral it doesnt matter lol. What optics are you using? I have mine about 15" above water line with 80 degree optics. Whites=800amps royal blues 1000 amps.

T5 and metal halide sounds like a strong light already but if you are gonna add from the tank with only t5 id say run whites around 35% and blues around 45%. And slowly increase the light.

Also try and find out what optics are o the light, that would give you and idea on how high to set the light.

Remember even coral coming from tanks with mh will bleach if you don't acclimate them to led.
