hey guys, after some readings, i understand that if my tank's nitrate and phosphate are around 0 that could cause the dino to appear. i did some tests for nitrate and phosphate, they both read 0; i test multiple times through 3-4 days stretch. My question is that if i increase feeding and reduce skimming time to get the nitrate and phosphate levels to where it should be, is that a good plan going forward?
(i currently feed my corals pieces of shrimps and red sea a&b 2-3 times a week)
( i have a skimmer rated for 65g and i run it 24hr. I have about 45 gal of total water. i have 2 clowns, 2 dragonette gobies, 1 diamond goby, and a cardinal along with a few hermit crabs and snails)
Im thinking of using Dr. Tim one and only and waste away to fight the dino. If you guys have input, tips let me know. thank you
