Been cycling my 29 bio, waiting on the cycle is always the worst..... So ammonia being 0 has me stoked. I've had successful mixed reefs before, life happened and now I'm back. I'll be posting piks as I add livestock and corals. For now just my tank pik.

Sweet, I'm in the same boat as you, just getting back into it...my cycle is at day 8...right now just dreaming about the live stock. Your tank looks great! Enjoy.

Mark82 it's about 90 gallons, it will be a mixed reef. I like montiporas, chalice, scollys, and I really like the inferno anemone. The tank is a LeeMar and it has a coast to coast overflow.

Nice 90 bro! Like the rock work. Any live? I'm already planning a upgrade. I think 120 is gonna be the next one. Reefers..... Haven't even finished cycling and already planning the next tank.

Mark82 I used dry rock, and cycled it in a brute trash can for about four months. I also bought a few Real Reef rocks. I used Bac7 to get the bacteria rolling. Did you use dry or live rock?

I used dry with some rock with that arag alive sand and a piece of love rock from Chris (PGR) which seems to have really kicked things in gear. I hav some Dr. Tim's one and only coming to the house today. You guys think I should throw it in or just let the cycle continue without?

I'm not an expert however I don't think adding in some Dr Tim's product late in the game will hurt anything... people I always talk about it being a really good product... when are you adding live stock and what are you going to add first?

Once I see my nitrites hit 0 I'll do a water change and go pick up a pair of Picasso clowns. Gonna grab a anemone too, either rose or gbta.
