Hey guys been working on this the past two days and am about 10 gallons away from it being complete! The water is mixing so I figured id out this up now. I got the tank from Eric, thank you!!! And the sump from chad, thank you as well!! Chad was also nice enough to lend me 2 water containers and a big *** bin to store all my water and corals during the transfer so it went really smooth. Here's the pics of the plumbing build and I'll put pics of the tank once the waters done mixing.

Nice setup..... Let me guess you added a water change drain as well to the back of the lower part of the tank? Looking forward to see that tank wet. Also are you planning to paint the back?

Dude that is FU*KIN awesome! A water change valve is sweet!

I just did a water change tonight, and what a hassle. I saw this and immediately showed me gf and said, "see, this is why I need to build my own tank".

Who built ur tank? What drain is that ? Ur plumbing and whole setup is super clean!

Very nice, will you be painting the back black? I added a water change drain on my 180g. It really helps when you don't need to siphon any debris.

Thanks guys! I was told it was for a closed loop system... But I dunno I liked the water change idea better haha. I'm not sure who made it I got it from Eric Ta and I'm pretty sure he bought it second had as well.
I didn't paint the back black but I did use vinyl sheets from a sticker shop my mom works at, wall words. It worked pretty well but I didn't clean the glass well enough in one area and It definitely shows haha

Nice score Andy! I was drooling over this tank. I'm glad you got it! It looks bad ***. I've been wanting a wc valve for awhile. I need a fish room first.

The way its drilled and plumb, definitely a drain for water change and not close-loop. Great looking tank again. I want my future 100g tank with very similar plumbing.

Sweet...looking forward to those pics. Your livestock already looked great in the 120 with the glass in the condition that it was. Now in this cherry tank they're gonna pop. Great job on the plumbing Andy.

Do you want a yellow tang? He's a little to big for my tank and can use to gain a couple pounds. He's a good eater though its just my other fish beat him to the meals. Free if you want him. its about 4" round.

Sure he is yours. He could use some extra nori feedings to gain a little weight. I need to find my trap at Chad's I'm gonna swing by there tonight.
