but back to the build thread...looks very nice andy...i see in some of the pics that there's some spots where detritus builds up..do you syphon it out when doing water changes or just let it be and let nature run it's cycle?

I just waive my scraper around to get it up in the water column. Let the sump and five take care of it. I have a 3rd power head blowing from the bottom back left that pushes it all out from behind my rock so it ends up in the front of te tank.

Thanks guys. I had a major die off in May where all my SPS died. Never really found out what happened but I suspect it had something to do with my little cousins spending the night while I was on vacation . Anyway I am not able to spend nearly as much time on the tank as I used to so I'm just sticking with softies & LPS.
