Tunze vote here, I used a jbj for 2 years without issue. But I know Tunze is the best so this time around I got me a Tunze

If you're looking for something a little cheaper look for the avast ato. There are no float switches, it runs off of a pressure switch. It is also compatible wth most controllers. I looked for horror stories before I purchased mine and couldn't find any. I agree with tunze if you have the money, if not the avast at $89 can't be beat

Had the JBJ dump 7 gallons and overflow my sump TWICE! Burned out my tank outlet and had to learn how to wire and install new elec outlets.. :/ .. switched both my tanks to tunze and couldn't be happier! Money WELL spent!

I just picked up a TUNZE 3155 and very happy with it. It's a little pricey but with all the good reviews the peace of mind is well worth it IMO :top:

Smart ATO.I have one, I love it. Its size and simplicity make it hard to beat. Not to mention the price is pretty good too, comes with everything you need. The audible alarm is great as well, and definitely isn't easily ignored haha. All in all, I love this thing. It was an excellent purchase IMHO.

Just got one this week also. I'm still waiting for an ato reservoir to be fab. It is very compact, space saver, simple, quick set up, and abt the size of a golf ball.

I started with a setup from autotopoff.com and it died (while I was out of town) after about 18 months. Replaced it with a Tunze and I have to say...pricey but rock solid.
