he cause to have to get it allthe way down to the base. if possible take the rock out and cut it off. after you cut it off make sure you rinse the rock because when cutting the aptasia off, it release spores and those spore turn into new aptasia.

I can't remove the rock cause it's the base rock for my structure and also has coral on it. I wish I could get an angel or other large fish but I have a 30 gallon tank.

I got lucky with a 4 inch Raccoon butterfly fish he ate all my aiptasia's and haven't had one pop up after he did his job. But now I got ball anemones everywhere popping up like aiptasias lol

Get 3 peppermint shrimp. They rid my 29gallon of about 200 aiptasias in less than a week. Highly recommended.

Not at all, peppermint shrimp are smaller than cleaner shrimp and will not touch your corals unless there's aiptasias around them.

+1. Peppermints usually hide, you'll never really see them come out when the lights are on. They come out mostly when the lights are off. Reef safe all the way!!

It is possible for peppermint shrimp to mess with corals. Not always but it happens.
Just make sure you feed your tank every day and there is never any issue with them going for your corals, if they do touch your corals it's mostly likely because your shrimp are hungry and your coral is weak / going to die inevitably.
