What are some of the problems you have had from being lazy?

I've been busy the last couple weeks and have given my tank ZERO attention:

1. My part-b ran out and my ALK dropped to 6.8 (sps/lps are NOT happy)
2. My HUGE melenarus disappeared and my NO3 spiked to ~5ppm and PO4 to > .04

Guess I won't go that long between water tests again...

YES! I hate testing water and will only do it in the first stages of a cycle to make sure the biological filter has been seeded.

I don't detail the corners of the tank and the bottom and it gets nasty coraline spots. I don't test alk as much as I should and less likely to test calcium. My calcium was at 390 this morning. I was like wtf 1550 magnesium, 10.1 alk and 390 calcium???? Meh the tank is finally growing acro like buttA!

Haven't tested alk/Ca/Mag in 3 months. Did a 20g water change about 6 weeks ago. My phosphates have been going out of control. Have to clean my glass every 2-3 days. My SPS are def not happy

Anyone else notice that their tanks seem to do better in spring/summer? Maybe it's because the house is all closed up tight in the winter? Or because the heater is always on?
