Anyone with an ATB 840 v1.5 have start up issues with their pump? Mine doesn't start up right away and it gets annoying having to try to get it to start. It didn't happen at first but then lately it's been doing it a lot more :( I'm using the purple pin wheel btw.

I have the same skimmer and haven't had a problem but I have the new pump on it, the sicce syncra. I think that was why they switched pumps.

ATBs service is great give them a call and see what your options are.

Dang Cody we sure do have a lot of the same stuff when it comes to our reef tanks lol!! I'll check out the new pump. I've done some research and I think swapping out the pumps is the best route since I've had a bunch of problems with this current one :(

My ATB is silent as well.
My ATB is very silent too! Noise has never been an issue with my skimmer.

With the money you upgrade to new pump, i suggest you sell the ATB to collect the money to buy new bubble king. You won't have any problem on this skimmer.
Does Bubble King have a 10 year warranty right?

I think buying a new pump might be a cheaper route though lol
