I always thought auctions weren't allowed. ....

But since I've seen some lately and no one is tripping and they're cool, how about a separate forum for them since they aren't normal sale threads?

Just saying

I think we found the guy to get this thing advertised and set up...
I'll commit to an item each week
Don't need much. Like someone mentioned make another area for traffic. Possibly a sign/tab that reads live auction happening now and the time counting down when it will be over. Pic of the actual piece, who's selling it etc...

You click on the yellow or red flashing tab and it gives you other tabs to click to make a bid through cc, or PayPal. After you placed your higher bid your bid is the top so the item now has your bid as high bid. Something like that.

Red and yellow are the colors in any sign that sells. Check out all fast food joints and major companies. ;-)

separate forum for sponsors auctions is necessary. Also I would have a reasonable starting bid so whatever seller doesn't pull some of the weird stuff I've read online.
Obviously not you Ron. You keep making me steaks and giving me back rubs when I come over.

The red and yellow is to make the customer not want to stay. It doesn't sell. Mc Donald's do not want their customers to stay. They want them to order and leave. A dinners uses soft colors and a comfy environment to keep the customer there and spend more money
