Well, now that we have settled down in San Pedro, I am starting a new tank. picked up a used acrylic 50 with a nice cabinet Sunday, and a free red sea berlin skimmer tonight. Tomorrow picking up a used sump! Heres a pic of the tank

So, got it plumbed and wired...
Even have my Reef Central Hydra controller in it!
Even installed a GFCI outlet for the system!

Nice.. Hope your happy with the skimmer and it was good meeting.. What type of light are you going to run by the way?..

Very happy with the skimmer! Thanks again!
For lights starting off with what came with the tank. 150W 20, 000K MH and a 32W 50/50 power compact.

Tear out those PCs and add some DIY LEDs. You will love it!! Plus u can get the meanwell P drivers and dim them with your Hydra. Nice setup

I do have a handful of 1W cool white and 1W blue LED's I got free as samples from a manufacturer a couple years ago... Next project is guessing where they may be at LOL

The tank has cleared, dosed Microbacter7 to speed things up.
Tonight, the tank looks perfect... and I see life.
