BIG shout out to Prashanth!!!!!!

Let me tell you guys about Prashanth. Maybe two members know him. I didn't even know him until today's heartbreaking chance encounter. He's a lurker, which is cool, that's just his style. He had an electrical catastrophe which nuked his system. He had a prized Black Tang which he wanted to make sure got taken care of while he takes a break. I don't know why exactly my name came up on the third degree, through James-Lee and Chris, but it did. So here I am acclimating this beautiful little creature to my QT and prepping for a healthy round of meds over the next few weeks. I thought I would share some shots...

Little thing is stressed from the haul from the HD to RS. So its a little grey.




It was heartbreaking to see him part with his centerpiece specimen. He even sent me with the fish's favorite frozen foods!

Prashanth whenever you decide to come back this fish is yours. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask. But when you DO come back make sure to cruise the boards and chop it up with us!

James and Chris: You guys are awesome. Thanks for throwing my name in the hat. I owe you both as well.

It's always so sad to hear the devastating stories of people's tank crashes but I'm so glad we have such great people in our community of SW hobbyists that are always willing to lend a hand.

Al James and I are just glad that it went to a good reefer who will take care of it. As much as I wanted him I knew that if he went into my tank my other tangs would decimate him. It really shows how much he cared for his fish because he was willing to give away his black tang to a good home. Hopefully he's back in the reefing game soon.

He's marinating in praziquantel and eating enriched Artemia. He's really getting his color back. That is 1.5" PVC for scale.

We should get Sally Struthers to do a infomercial ... for just a dollar a day you could help feed, house and provide care for this Juvenile black tang ... He and others like him suffer everyday from hunger, no shelter, are sick and need medical attention or are left abandoned by their parents to die !!! Wont you take just 5 minutes of your time to help a Tang in need its just $1 a month folks ...
