Bio pellet reactor and uv sterilizer?

I just bought a bio pellet reactor, is it ok to run it with the uv sterilizer?

You can run UV with it. The bacteria on bio pellets is "hypothesized to be" stationary meaning it is not free floating, since it is not floating about in the water column the UV can not remove it. UV removes free floating algae spores and other small organisms in the water. It's fine to run both the same time.

That's fine. Just start with small amount of pellets. Don't want a drastic change in your tank.
