bienvenue monsieur pat
post a shot of your display.
Definitely nothing to brag about, but I had a ton of fun learning about the hobby in the short time I've had my tank.
Am currently only running polyfill and LR for filtration because I recently heard downsides of running carbon, GFO, or Chemipure/Purigen to tanks with corals due to them taking up trace elements beneficial to corals. And am finally deciding to get into corals.
-Visio Glass tank (think it's 20 gallons)
-Light: hood from my friend's stock JBJ Nano (T3's)
-Custom AIO style sump
-Return pump: Maxijet-900
-Hydor Koralia 240
-Aquaclear 50 (just polyfill)
-Heater: 100W Eheim
-Chaetomorpha (think I might take it out because I read it's pretty pointless in small batches especially in a nano.)
Livestock:
-2 black A. ocellaris (pretty sure they're a bonded pair at this point, have stuck together since the beginning pretty much)
-Watchman Goby
-Tobacco Basslet
-2 Red Hermits
-3 Dwarf Red-tipped hermits
-2 Astrea snails
-3 or 4 Nassarius snails (am beginning to think one died recently, have only seen three at a time in the last week or so)
Corals:
-Xenia (is it considered a coral? forgot..)
-GSP ($5 frag I bought two days ago)
Onto the pictures (don't mind the Coralline-free back wall, recently Plasti-dipped the glass back wall):
I don't understand why SCR is telling me 240kb pictures are too large when it's not even hosted on SCR... Picture upload feature seems really buggy. After I click Host it nothing happens.
