Yeeahhhhh I'll admit to doing this also. Mine though was about 4 oz of revive (dip water not straight revive).. I never used it because it got too cold so I left it on the table and when I was cleaning up I thought it was just tank water, I was preoccupied talking to someone too.. Well luckily i realized before dumping the whole tub in(butter tub 1/2 full about 20oz of super concentrated dip). It was in my main system which is about 400g but man my skimmer went insta-crazy. No ill effects came from it besides my sump looking like a bubble bath. LOL

Definitely a holy &%#$! moment.. :)

I had a screwed up nozzle on windex squirt a nice stream into my tank. All that happened was my skimmer overflowing constantly for a day. That and lack of sleep from checking in it all night.

I topped of my ato then did a 20g water change. Took me a minute to figure out why I could only get 15g back in. Didn't unplug my ato! :a43:

Wife had a dinner party with friends and the hosing on my return decided to popped off. I thought the tank crack on the bottom was chaos.

My worst was draining my 20g long into a 5 gallon bucket and walking away. Water all in my living room and down the hall on fake cheapo wood floors. Stayed up all nihht shop vacumming my floors and still squished for months. A reminder of my stupidity every time I went to bed lol

A cupful of revive in a 100+ gallon tank? No biggie around here
Ha!
I'm sure they reef gods will get around to saving your tank when they are done laughing at me. Good luck!
I laugh so hard at this sorry.

Figure I should take a cell phone shot of the BEFORE hehehe

wow beautiful z's & p's colonies. It seems like everything is doing good and revive didn't affect.
Keep up the good work and perhaps putting big labels on the bottles will avoid this from happening again.?

I've almost done that exact same thing before. The revive and Acropower bottles are very similar. I grabbed the bottle and opened it, then went WHOAHH. I threw the revive away right after that. I only use Bayer anyways.

Hope it's all alright

Did the room smell clean like pine sol
No but that's the only reason why I didn't dump 2 more cap fulls into the tank... I smelled the pine sol and flipped the bottle around.

i think you will be ok, id switch out the carbon every hour.
it will help a lot.

my bone head move with revive was.
i was accumulating a huge (colony not frag) red planet sps for about 2 hr's with about 5 min's left in the process i always drop in some revive.
well just a i put the revive in juan (jbaeza83) came in with lunch so we sit down and eat........... BS........ then i go oh sh.... yup it was in the revive about 45-1 hour and dead.
Just saw this, I'll change the carbon out right now... dang every hour? I don't have that much carbon. Thanks Jason.

The bubble bath was ready for me this morning haha skimmer stopped going nuts after the second full cup I emptied.

Not a bad idea, but I think I will have this on my mind and will be actually be reading the bottles from here on out.

At least you didn't pour Bayer in your tank. That could have been a lot worse.
Yeah haha I wouldn't have done that though... it was because the bottles are both white and had them next to each other.

I just turned the lights on early today and everything looks just fine.
