Drove down to Oceanside on Monday to pick up my tank and stand that I ordered at MAX. Euro braced, 3 sided starfire glass, 48x 24x 24x. The stand is a mix of kona and espresso minwax stain. The tank and stand were packaged nicely, which made the miserable task of getting it all up stairs a little easier.

The biggest issue was moving my current tank and livestock across the house because my 120 is going where that tank is. Drained the tank until there was only about 5 inches of water, removed the sump, dragged everything across the living room and re-filled it. That will stay up and running until the 120 is fully cycled and then will transfer all of the rock and livestock. Then that tank will go up for sale.

Very nice! That's how I did my upgrade too. Drained the tank partially then slid it over and kept it running until the new tanks was ready. Works great. Looking forward to your progress

Awesome! How exciting. I've never had a glass tank before so I have a couple questions...

1. The red circles - Is it just the lighting or is there some type of vertical lines going on there?
2. The orange circle - Looks like marks from being cut, is it smooth? Do other manufacturers sand/polish those out?

The stand looks gorgeous! Excited to follow your tank transfer since I will be going through the same thing in a couple months. Good luck!

Great tank. I pretty much have the same tank. If you have any questions on equipment hit me up as I've been through it already.
