Lol. Yeah I haven't gone ape$hit with frags till I could get it running. Dosing sucks the big one. I accidentally got a frag of purple solitarienses (I'm sure I just butchered the spelling) today as a good luck charm. I just need a new o-ring and CO2 tank then I'm a frag killing machine!

Man that thing is gonna need to be put on like a 1 drop every 10 seconds. You need something to eat calcium and alk. Ill tell you what, Campge is about to get out, he has 3 (2) of my 3 year old colonies, that are BF. tell em to sell em to you at my pricing.

Where do you live gordiflona?

Put like 20-30 seconds between bubbles on ur co2, and make surenf your effluent is coming out very slow.
Too slow and it's going to clog. I recommend a steady stream no valve at all and just put co2 on timer for like 30 mins to an hour daily. Set your co2 so that your reactor ph is 6.6-6.8. This is how I run my reactors except I run way longer timer times.

You can have all the patience in the world , if the effluent is too slow the calcium and air will clog it.
When I first started mine, I only had a couple frags and I had my effluent really slow. I never had any clogging problems.

Esteban is right, u have to keep your ph higher. Which is fine, because that just means ur melting the media slower

Right but high ph wont really disolve the media much and if thats the case then why run an reactor at all? Might as well just do water changes.

Shut uuuuuup. If it's run at a lower acidity it still strips the media. He doesn't need much.

Well you guys are all right. I mainly have frags right now with a few mini SPS colonies(almost baseball sized) and what seem like the worlds fastest growing Favias. I'm going to fix that soon during the IEMAS OC field trip. I know I haven't needed the reactor yet but I'm tired of dosing and water changes to adjust levels. Thanks for the tips guys! Keep them coming!
