This company has been around for decades serving hundreds of stores, offices, and other businesses.

Who out there uses Catalina natural seawater for their reef tank and what are your experiences? (good or bad)

Catalina water which is taken from somewhere off Long Beach, is low in magnesium and calcium. And certainly low in things like boron and other trace elements that coral enjoy. Would use that for FO tanks. Unless you use a CalRx or dose on a doser.

The Catalina water is very inconsistent. They pull water from in front of the Queen Mary right where the LA river dumps into Long Beach.

LOL, for those who don't know the inside joke, Dave's been around this hobby even longer then I, which makes us both older than dirt I suppose..

Thanks for the feedback guys.
besides Catalina and OIM, has anyone tried other sources of natural seawater???
I used Oceans in Motion (Andy) he delivers to stores like The reef in Fullerton, and Jans Tropical. He gets his from a source in San Pedro. Used it for over 5 years. Good stuff, lots of growth with my corals & Non-photosynthetic corals.
