anyone ever use cholla wood in their tanks?

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a saltwater tank with it, maybe a fish only can get away with it

And for my chameleon too
But not on my reef tank

Why do you want to, the idea, thinking behind it? If it’s for caves or hiding spots, most use PVC.

Chola woods ? Hmmm.....I used that on my freshwater shrimp tanks before. Not sure how it works on saltwater reef tank.

I have 2 pieces in a freshwater planted tank with corys/loaches/livebearers. Never tried it in a saltwater setup.

I want to say that I’ve seen it done at a couple aquariums that I’ve visited but not 100% on that. My memory is crap haha

There‘s an experiment to try. But in a separate tank or container other than your display.

I have a couple pieces of cork bark in my saltwater tank , no issues but different type of wood it doesn’t mold at all and floats, anemone is currently attached to it lol

If you want to try it for the looks of it, I would seal it with resin completely first.
