love that rock work man.. great start...
Tyty! I love how wifey is all into it now. Special thanks too to floresian for giving me that push I needed to start this. Only rock I feel is missing now is maybe 1 or 2 small pieces of branch... I'm going to keep my eyes open for some cherry pieces.

Nice,
Your built reminds me about my old 28 gallon. The tank can only fit 5 gallon container for autotopoff.
Sweet! I had thought about maybe a tiny sump down there lol... but an ato seems like a better idea. We'll see what's up.

Your rock is fine, it will all get covered up with corals eventually. I think tonga/branch rock only looks good when it is mostly all tonga. One or two tonga pieces on top of other rock always looks out of place.

Then maybe on the hunt for a small flat piece to sit on top of the rock chillin on the bottom right. .. the rock looks so lonely lol. .. plus I'm at 27.4 pounds of live rock and now I'm all OCD status to make it an even 28 for the og 1,000,000 year old rule of 1 pound of rock per gallon lol

My question is I guess how to mount them on the stand as i don't feel too confident the wood is good enough to hold stuff that is screwed on

It is strong enough and firm

Very clean! I like it. Is yours wood or metal? My only concern is how would I attach it to the stand. The wood of these stands aren't always the best to screw stuff on

Can you just attach it to the wall behind the tank instead?

Not very sexy but works. Going to try to make some time to put something together later. Thanks for the idea

My girl and I patched up holes sanded taped up and painted the room before moving in. Going to cringe every second the drill is in the wall. I really don't want holes in the room lol.
