Coral dye off,..

So just looking at my tank top to bottom,. I have lost 2 rics, and acan, and 3 heads off 2 different frogspawns. The room smelt like nail polish hard core yesterday and im having super bad dye off today. Could the smell off nail polish remover from another room pumped up through the ac vents be the cause of this all. When I came home yesterday it smelt like someone had spilt a bottle of nail polisher remover. I don't know what else it could be im stumped right now! Any info helps.

temp? i noticed that anyone that has posted recently about there livestock dieing had to do with the temp... since it has been gettin hot... i know that was my situation

Okay here are some numbers, Kiddo just got picked up a couple hours ago.
Temp=80.1
Ph=8
Kh=8
Ammonia=0
Phosphate=0
Nitrite=0
Nitrate=20
Calcium=440
Magnesium=1340

Check your ducts for dead animals. I'm guessing.

Do you know what is making the smell? Is it actually nail polish remover or is that just what it smells like? Is the smell gone now?

The smell was only one day for a couple hours, I was told it was a combination of nail polisher remover and nair. The duct in the master bedroom has an exhaust that pulls up and threw it straight to my room somehow.

My wife and daughter were doing their nails in front of my tank two days ago. Today this. All parameters a good. Hmm
