I have a frag that has some hard to kill Aiptasia. I've already blasted the previous pests with AiptasiaX but they keep sprouting anew. I'm wondering if a ReVive dip will kill these trespassing fools. One of them is right in the middle of some polyps and I don't want collateral damage.

revive will............................................... REVIVE IT!!!...
Why does revive help Aiptasia if it'll kill bugs? I thought Aiptasia is a worm with an anemone like appendage? (heehee, I said appendage)

Anyhow, just would've thought that if it kills bugs then it'll kill these too. Learn something new everyday...

Joe's Juice works awesome. It would be pretty challenging, but do-able, to isolate the treatment.

I think the application of Joe's Juice or mall paste would be just as if not more difficult than Aiptasia-X.

I do turn off all pumps for ~20 mins for AipX. I'm gonna give it a go again and also get some peppermints. I've been wanting some shrimps anyhow.

Thanks all!

Aiptasia is a type of anemone, not worm!

+1 for peppermint shrimp.

I've used Joe's Juice, Aptasia X and lemon juice for a couple of years. They would all work for a couple of weeks and then the aptasia would come back. I got one peppermint shrimp and within 2 weeks it killed at least 50 aptasia and they haven't come back in a couple of months.

At one point I had about 10 aptasias in my 60g tank, I got just 1 peppermint shrimp and he took care of them all within 2 days. You tank is a little smaller, I would say you need just one, but you might want to get 2 just in case one of them doesnt touch them.
