So apparently my wp40 is either full of gunk and is barely turning from that or it's just a dead pump. How do you snap the front part of the back? Any links? This happen to anyone else. POS! I wish I never sold that 6105 now! Fuuuuuuuuughk

Also u could have got a bad pump. I believe Lindsey got a dead one. She bought 2 in the 4 GB. When she hooked it up she called me and said it wasn't as strong as I said it was. I told her that the 40 would rip her 75 gallon apart. She said that it was barely making waves. I told her to try the other pump she got. She then said the 40 was to strong.

Don't encourage his plumpness. He's hoping the iPhone6 does all the texting and forum writing by just thinking thoughts.

I did this before. Burned the crap out of my hand. I had 3 pumps (one was a mag) in a bucket. Not a good idea. Lol

So I cleaned it after the vinegar bath and it's still weak. Anyone else have this issue? Took it apart and didn't see anything missing or off. Is the motor just stuck or is it just toast?

Have you tried it with a different controller

Try that pump on a different controller and power supply. Sometimes the power supplies go bad. Also try adding a spacer or something behind the outside magnet ive heard that sometimes the outside magnet will pull the impeller and slow it down

I'm having similar issues with my WP40 this week.

H1-H3 setting seem so much weaker than before.
With W1, it runs when I have the speed at S1 (100%) and S2 (75%) but also seems much weaker. At W1/S3 the impeller turns one time after plugging it in and then it gets stuck.

I already took it apart and gave it a vinegar bath and inspected the shaft to make sure there was no damage. Still no luck.

I'm not sure if the motor went bad or if it is a bad controller.
I am looking for my multimeter to see if somehow the controller is sending lower voltage than normal. It should be sending around 24v for full power, and 12v-13v at minimum.

There has been outages from SCE so I wonder if this caused a malfunction in the unit. Either way now I know why tunzes are four times as much. Anyone have a 6105 with a 6205 front laying around? poS Sanh pumps
