Darn I just setup my 500gal and needed that much rock. Ohh man. Great deal just too late. :lie:
Where'd they come from? Did you successfully use this rock in your system? You said no copper in your hands does that mean you got them from another breakdown?

Yeah I have about twenty pounds in my tank for the past 5 months and I have a mix reef. No issues to the rock in my opinion. Other people got the rock too and they have no issues either. So it's safe. And yeah I massive tank break down. I got about half of the rock that was collected.

My system is a thirty gallon. I've had my tank running for about a year and a half now. I have no sand bed and only about 10 pounds of rock before I used the other 20. I did and still have a 20 gallon refuge sump hooked with the system to keep that bacteria in my tank. Yes, It did come from a fowlr tank.
