Egg ID needed

I was cleaning my power heads yesterday and found this on covered in some type of eggs, does anyone know what these are?

Look likes snail, don't quote me though.

I was thinking snail at first also but it's in places that a snail shell would not fit. Maybe bergia nudi?

Do you have cerith snails?

A member on another forum said Nassarius eggs which makes perfect sense now since I seen 4 of the up around there the other night.

Definitely NOT berghia nudi. The egg strands from berghias are laid in a spiral formation -- as is the case for other types of nudis i might add. It's very distinctive and most certainly doesn't look like the image above.
