That clam is awesome, looks super happy. Everything looks great.

What’s is the green/blue piece third pic?

No the brighter one. Lower left side of the pick looks like it’s nestled up against a big digi colony.

Maybe it’s more of a yellow/blue…

Yeah that’s the one! Still new to the SPS game and not familiar with all the species.

Have to right that one down. Dig the color but the growth structure really stood out.

It’s a deep water, so really smooth skin with not a lot of coralites like like other sps species.

These pics are from a few months back. But it’s what it looking like from the front

I see you little guy

Wednesday I was doing some fragging and cleaning an found 4 adults and 6 egg spirals. Hopefully here in the next I’ll be able to start selling berghia.
Another side project I’m going to be working on this weekend is making a transportation ice chest that will be 12vDC and able to run off cigarette lighter outlet in a vehicle. It will have a heater and chiller. Sense I drive all over SoCal for a living I’d be able to take berghias and frags with me to work and have people met me off an off ramp or something.

So I’m really getting frustrated with heavy metals and at whits end. I’ve checked all pumps and magnets. Gone through three 500ml of Seachem Cuprisorb in the last 3 months trying to lower the copper and heavy metals in the system. They have to be coming from reef crystals salt.
Here’s my ro/di results of ICP

Also I’m a bit curious on how I’m getting so many minerals in ro/di water when I’m running a 9 stage system and 3 of them are di chambers, and the tds meters are all reading zeros on the back end of the unit. I’m wondering if the guy doing the test is properly cleaning the machine and testing equipment in between each test.

But here’s my results from ICP. I did a side by side from last Novembers test to show differences.

They seem to added a few more elements they test for so that’s the reason things don’t line up side by side.
I also noticed that the trident is reading high on cal and low on mag. Here’s the screenshot from the day I took the water sample and sent in ICP.

Run some brightwell purit for the metals

The problem is that if I run activated carbon I strip the water to clean. The no3 is hovering at .5 and po4 is at 0.02ppm. Im already feeding 7 times a day and can’t get the numbers up. The skimmer has been off for 3 months and the fuge only runs 3 hours a night. Even feeding this much I can go a week and a half before I get algae on the glass. By using activated carbon I’ll strip the water even cleaner. I’m already loosing sps do to lack of nutrients. I don’t want to make it worse.

Even the ICP shows that the po4 levels are below recommend levels.

Eheim is set and runs 4 times a day.
Feeding 30ml of coral/fish food 3 times a day.

It auto feeds off the dōs

All this feeding and the tank is super clean
