My Tank Build
So talk about going slow and steady.
The last time I tested my parameters were mid July and here were the results.

Yep everything was a little low. If I remember correctly mag was some where around 1070ppm. So I dropped the pH in the cal reactor to 6.57.
I finally got my fata** up over the weekend and check the parameters to see where I was at now

Yep that's right. I'm still low but not as low. So if I stay at the rate I'm going my parameters should b on spot by next spring.
Hey if it ain't broke don't try to fix it. My corals seem to be growing at a good rate

My Tank Build
Been a while seen this thread had an update.
The tank is still running on auto pilot. The last time I tested anything was the post above ^.
I haven't added any corals in a while but have got a few fish. Got a few yellow coris wrasses.
Picked up nicks clown tang last night. I put him in an acclimation box over night but when I got up this morning he was bouncing off the walls and seem to be messing up his nose. So he got dumped into the tank. It's been a few hours and there really hasn't been and big fights. I did put up a large mirror on one side of the tank to draw there attention towards there own reflection instead of each other.

I can't believe he's being so chill. Hope he does better in your tank.
Dude he's been so chill. He's only tried a hand full of times to see what he can get away with and the blue and sohal weren't having none of it. But I'm going to watch him for the next few days. He's still new and probably hasn't settled in yet. I'm thinking once he settles in there's going to be a battle to determine peeking order.

Looks great Eric! How are those clowns and other fishies doing?
The clowns r doing super. They hosted my 2 ritteri anemones and love them. The 2 of them have actually put a bet down on my female maroon clown. The yellow chromis have been spawning regularly. I've yet to see any fry live tho. I'm thinking about setting up a spawning set up for them. My mp60 sucked up and killed a blue chromis one the first day. And back in December I found the anthias dead. I don't know what happened to it but it wasn't bet up or any damage to him.
But everything else is doing great. I did lose my copper band butterfly to stress when added all 14 fish at once.

Looking good man, glad you decided to keep it running!
I'm still not sure of that yet. Last Tuesday I found out that my house has a slab leak under the stairs. I'm still trying to find out how much it's going to cost to fix, if insurance is going to cover it. If they don't cover the slab leak I may have to sell it just to help cover the costs of the leak.
This year has been one headache after another. In the last 2 months I've had to replace a water heater. Deal with my car getting totaled and know a slab leak on the house. I'm actually afraid to see what else is in store for this year.

Bummer, I hear ya on that, when it sh!t rains, it sh!t pours.

CV joint on my wagon just exploded on me when I went to move it today.

Best luck with that leak, maybe someone on here can hook it up or knows somebody?

Gunna get worse and worse as the clown gets more comfortable. I'm really surprised your sohal isn't Fin him up. If you put that sohal in my tank, that clown would above destroyed him by now.

This will be a good test to see who is the biggest A hole. Everyone claims the sohal is the meanest, but I've never seen a sohal do things my clown tang did.
