I finally gathered enough stuffs to set up my tank. It's a 110 gallon with a 20-25 gallon sump. I have it run with an overflow box hang on the back of the tank and 2 Quiet One 3000 pump for return.
After I turned on everything for awhile, I noticed that the water in the tank kept rising so I thought maybe the return rate was more than the overflow rate so I disconnect one of the Quiet One. The water level in the sump and the tank was more stable. However, the water in the sump kept rising, really slow though, about 1-2mm every 30 mins or so. I don't know what I have to do to fix this, since this is my first salt water tank. Second, the hang-on-back overflow box kept making really loud gurgling sound (like when you're really thirsty and take big gulp of water), except it's really really loud.
Please tell me what's the problem of my tank and how to fix them asap.
I only have tomorrow to finish setting up my tank and let it cycle, otherwise I would have to wait 2 more weeks to get the chance to work on it.
Thanks in advance
