skimmer is doing awesome, took about 2 weeks to break in but all good now.

Looks good!! BUT I wanna see some skimmate!! I'm debating on whether or not to go ATB, and I haven't seen any good videos or pictures of some in action.

Well i decided to turn my frag tank into a shallow reef. I always like tank with rock and sand anyway.

Jealous those are nice dims. I thinking external overflow as I don't see nothing inside??? But clown was shocked when you took a pic of him with mouth open. LOL

I wanted it a little taller like 15in. but it'll do. It is a external overflow and more space for the inside.

It's making a lot of noise with that water splashing. I would either lower the skimmer, or put a 90 on the output of the skimmer. I had the same issue with my reef octopus xp3000. With out the 90, it splashed water everywhere. It was loud, and made a bunch of salt creep in the sump. Putting the 90 on the end stopped all the splashing, and cut the noise to almost nothing. Just a thought. (I'm sure I'll probably get attacked for offering U advice about an ATB. Lol) If i get attacked, then what I meant to say was....

Not my pic, but I had the same thing on my skimmer. It does add a little bit of back pressure, but on my skimmer it was barely noticeable
