Hi, Fellow reefers

It is with sadness to announce that we have lost one of the most dedicated reef hobbyist and frequent SCR member and member of local reef clubs. Mike Palasek AKA Smalltime. He passed away on July 30th 2014 unexpectedly. I just heard the news and received information for the service. for anyone who want to go and say their final good byes. PM me if you need the address.

I dont usually go on this forum but the family isn't sure of his list of friends in the hobby. Mike did mention to me that he frequents this forum, so I thought to post it here to notify his friends of his passing.

That is sad news, sorry for the loss. May his family find comfort in friends and family and in the memories of the time they shared with him.

Mike was one of my great friends. He helped me through a lot when I needed it most. I'm truly going to mis him. I will be attending the services tomorrow.

RIP! Condolences to the family and to the close friends he had in the reef community. We are only on this earth for such a short time.
