so i ordered a 250 mg bottle of this stuff and tried it out today. didnt see what i thought i would see. some of my acans ate it but not all. i first blast everything that i take out of my tank with oyster feast, and wait a lil and added the fauna marin. i let them be for about 2 hrs and i came home and saw that some of the corals didnt even take any of it in. Dont know if i did it wrong or something? i have better luck feeding them baby brain shrimp. wanted to see what or how other ppl use this stuff.

thanks :a43:

I blow it all over my lps and zoas ... I sometimes toss some in with my wicked feast and hope some gets consumed ... I ordered the lps pellets and the zoa food and they threw in 2 extra 25mg containers of the zoa/acan food that I need to get rid of... I'm not exactly sold on the stuff

Yeah I tried that Fauna Marin ****....it's expensive for sure but my corals prefer fresh or frozen food over this pellet any day! Not worth the price!

Your wickedfeast has it in it already. He puts it in his food when makes it. I can tell you my corals love it. I have the pellets because they were out of the powder but I just crush them up and then soak it up with some tank water and broadcast feed it. I like the stuff

I put half a big container in each batch of the pellets. Next batch will get the powder only to see if it would make a difference.

i have the oyster feast, but i wanted something better. Something as a hard food, like these pellets. ppl say good stuff about this food. Maybe a lil more time, and my corals will like it.

i dont think so. I see a great diff from feeding and not feeding my corals. I have two frags of the same kind, and i feed one and not the other. The one i feed has 6 head the one i dont feed has only 2 :)

I enjoy feeding with the pellets. I have a two foot long pixie stick straw that I use to drop the pellets directly onto my lps. I enjoy seeing my lobos, wellso's, scoly, fungia and acans send out their tentacles, open their mouths and gobble it up. All my LPS LOVE the fauna Marin. My two young boys love watching the corals "come alive".

I do the same thing Patrick does but I used a 1/2 pvc pipe. Usually once the food is on the corals the fish will leave it alone. I've only seen my fish take the food away from the coral once before. You take your coral out of the tank to feed them? doesn't that close them up?

Try feeding ur corals spectrum pellets, they do the same thing.

I agree but the food is got something tasty because my fish like it more than regular spectrum pellets. Some of my fish will spit out. They also smell differ when crushed. The difference in a good pellet and a bad one is the amount of fillers added.
