I have a lot of them I my tank, they are some of my favorite clean up crew in the tank. They grow very fast, so if anyone needs some I can give you some by you bringing me a small rock or plug and leaving it for a couple days and I'll return it with feather dusters.

If anyone wants some message me and we can set something up, I don't have any loose feathers unfortunately so would need a small rock.

Very nice. I have them in my tank too but they only concentrate in one mid-size rock and spread very slowly.

Mine took like 5 months to settle down and spread like crazy. I placed a new shelf rock and 2 days later I saw Luke 6 new feathers on it

My sump is full of them — a sign of high nutrients in the system. I have a few Holy Grail ones that I can frag 🤣

Yes — I’ll throw in some OG Aiptasias, 24K Rainbow Red Slime, and WWC/CC/CB/TSA Coraline Algae. Everything for $195 shipped! Act now while supplies are limited.

I do heavy feedings, gotta keep the fish happy so they don't die. Plus I only keep soft corals so high nutrients aren't the worst thing for them

So do I — my tangs are super fat! I feed them nori everyday + pellets and frozen. My tank runs high nutrients as well - 27/0.25 NO3/PO4, respectively

Also funny how shops lay their name sake on corals as though they are the almighty himself.

ASD/WWC/JF/ORA...LOL

That’s a good observation lol I always wondered that. I get it with the whole “lineage” thing but yeah I mean technically they come from the ocean lol
Comparable to Toyota just swapping the emblems on a Honda and then continuing to build them the same way as Honda (it doesn’t happen but you get the point)

If you run high nutrients, what do you do for GHA control? Aside from manually grabbing it and brushing the rock

My tank has very high nutrients but haven't had GHA in years. I think the only time I've dealt with it was back when I started 4 years ago.

I think that having a good CUC & herbivores is the key— I have tangs, rabbit-fish, urchins, and lots of snails in both tanks.

If my tank is too small for tangs and rabbit fish what would y’all recommend to battle my GHA? I had an urchin before but that thing would either get stuck in my rock or knock over my coral lol
