They are rock dwellers not sand sleepers. They sleep in a mucus sac at night. Awesome fish i love mine glws

Not sure of gender but I wouldn't mind delivering.. How would I b able to determine the gender?

The male has a lot of yellow and Gil markings on the face and the female is more pink

It does have quite some yellow on his face runs all the way up to its fin

I dont think you can determine the sex of these wrasses by looking at them...
Pseudocheilinus wrasses start out as females though, so if its a youngin, its probably female...

I can't remember but I believe the males also have more white stripes that are suttle. I had a pair of mystery wrasses for 2 years. They would go everywhere together. Also the female stayed longer and leaner. There's also a marking by their tail fin on one of them if I remember correctly. Cool fish but they are constantly picking at your CUC wether to eat em or just to be mean.

Love my mystery wrasses since he (or she) is super mellow and shy, but smart as a whip....

They r bad a$$ wrasse, like it a lot but just wanna try something different see how it goes n if it don't go the direction I want it to go I'll get a pair if I decide to get another mystery wrasse.
