Hi everyone! Just figured I'd check in after lurking for a little while. Hi I'm Sam and iM A REEFAHAULIC... Just getting back into the hobby after being away for about 7 years... it seems like forever now that I think about it. Anyways, finally got a little time and found enough bargains to get a nano tank going. It's about 30 ish gal system, but it's been tougher this time around to keep everything neat and trim after having a 80gal system to work with. Anyways, I'll make a separate thread about all that later. Just glad to ba back, I almost forgot how addicting this stuff was...

Guest speakers, raffles, and just hang out and talk reef. Call it a Reefer's Anonymous meeting for nuts like yourself.

Nothing too fancy in the plans (famous last words...) For now it's going to be a mixed reef with a couple small fish. So far it's got a few hermits and snails, a cleaner shrimp and last weekend I got a tail spot blenny. I had never seen one before, and i think he'll be perfect for the job. I was looking for a small algae grazer, as I used to keep a couple bristle tooth tangs in my tanks to keep any minor algae at bay. Obviously that's not a great choice in this small of a tank, and even a good sized algae blenny is more fish than I wanted for this role. So far so good, he picks at the rocks all day. I'm having a hard time narrowing down the choices for other fish. I've always been partial to gobies and wrasses.... I'll probably just wait until I see something different. Which apparently won't take long because every trip to a new fish store reveals some reef fish that I didn't see before
