This is a nice tank, i considered picking it up but really don't need another tank, lol. I would suggest removing the live rock from the 1st chamber and put a filter sock in there, that chamber will become a debris trap and difficult to clean otherwise. You can use a simple spring clamp to hole the filter sock if you don't want to buy a holder.

got a new led bulb so it won't get to hot in my sump and replaced hoses on my reactors looks like it's getting more flow with new hoses

Just the nature of having something in that chamber that's not a sock will cause debris to get trapped, LR is one of the worst contributors, lol. Anyway, just a suggestion, whatever works for you is all that matters. Looking forward to seeing this thing get stocked!

I wasn't planning to but javajacketoc has Mr thinking maybe I should. Would I really need to take all the rock out can't I just get a sock and zip tie it onto the tube.

Now I'm faced with a problem I got this brown algae with bubbles on it I think it's dynoflagulate. How do I get rid of this stuff been reading and it seems really hard to get rid of

I have a sock holder that fits to the side of sump that I don't need. I can send it to you if you wanna use it

going to be doing 4 days of darkness till Tuesday and I get the algae x then going to start dosing hopefully that will kill it also running tank at 76 degrees hopefully the combination of things will handle it.

Quick update
I recently got a used apex jr with netgear wireless adapter. And also added a 20 gallon frag tank plummed into my sump so far loving the apex any recommendations on the must haves for the apex jr and advice on lighting time for frag tank im thinking of running it while dt lights are off and over lap a few hours.

it depends on what you want to use your apex for. The first thing I picked up was an Eb8. It gave me 8 more outlets to control all my stuff

added water to frag tank running great only complaint is return pump for It after going through reactors coming out kinda week but the koralia seems to be putting down some nice flow
