Hey guys, I would like to know if my fish list is much for 56g. (36x20x18)

What I have are the following.

2 clowns
Dwarf eel
Mystery wrasse
Hermits
Snails

What I want to add.
2 firefish
1-2 fairy wrasse
1 blue spotted jawfidh
1 - blenny ( I haven't decide which one)
2 cleaner shrimp

Is this too much bio load for my tank?
Lmk thanks

Alot depends on what kind of filteration your running, how much biological you have as in live rock and sand. To me you should be fine with decent filters and or skimmers. The only caution I would have is the eel. What kind os dwarf is it?

The blue spotted jaw fish is adventurous in a 56 but the rest seem okay. The mystery wrasse usually doesn't do well with things close to its color or species. Careful on the fairy wrasse you chose.

My mystery that I had for 2 years was fine until I added bartlett anthias, killed all 7.

Firefish are beautiful with amazing color but extremely boring and a little secretive.

I agree with Wicked on the Jawfish, if you don't make a home for them with PVC it will dig caves and collect frags all over your tank. They also require a deeper sand bed... like 4 to 5"... not the typical 2".

Bioload wise you should be OK... some of the fairies will get aggressive and grow larger than others.

I have a 160 swc skimmer that I'm going to upgrade for 180 swc skimmer. I have a wave box and mp 10 so I have alot of flow in there. I always use filter socks and I have chaeto. I also use a reactor for carbon

I only have lps n zoas in there.

The wrasse is only 2-3" and doesn't seem to bother my clowns.

Ya, I had a jawfish before and I made a PVC pipe for him. I also have a netting now so no fishes cant escape.

Eel is a golden dwarf moray eel. It's only 12"

Thanks guys!

+1 caution with eel

dont go on vacation too long, small fish cant hide in a small tank from a hungry eel.

I had a blue spotted jaw fish in my 250 and he still went bonkers and jumped out! He hit the sides of the canopy so many times he had little splinters in his bod before I found him in the crease between the edge and canopy!
Eels in a tank with small fish no good :(

The jawfish and wrasses are likely to become eel food at some point. Bottom dwellers or bottom sleepers with a bottom dwelling nocturnal hunter... Just a matter of time before something turns up missing.
