Tank is stocked with 2 tangs 2 clowns 5 rbtas that are doing really good and various softies. Any help would be appreciated. This is frustrating!!!!!

I am no expert by any means. But IME the membrane in my ro/di unit had gotten old and needing replacing. So I was adding phosphates and silicates without even realizing. 40 days later its all gone. Might want to check the TDS on your unit.

My ro membrane is fairly new but I have not tested the TDS. Will have to check that

I recently acquired a sea hare slug which might help your problem.. He was in a friends tank and got rid of all his hair algae in less than 2 weeks and let me tell you it was bad!! Since my switch to LEDs I now how a few patches on some of my rocks so as soon as he's done with my tank I'll post him on the forum to help out other fellow reefers.. As long as he gets passed around and doesn't starve...
