Hey guys, just thought i'd introduce myself really quickly. I'm Austin, I do not currently live in CA. I am moving from NC to CA for college, and because NC is boring. I am coming from a 75 gallon tank, but due to space issues in an apartment, i need a smaller tank. I am hoping to get a Nuvo 30L, because i think they look amazing. I've always liked shallow reefs and i just don't know any other company that makes them in an All in One style tank. I will finish my drive tomorrow morning and will be in Encino by noon tomorrow! Looking forward to joining this awesome community!

Hey good luck. Southern California is not boring. The ocean, desert, mountains, and weather make this a great place. And it is the home of the best LFS's and reefers anywhere. Welcome.

Hey Austin, welcome to SoCal. There are 5 clubs and are great. It really comes down to location and preference. A lot of us are members of multiple clubs and make the drive to certain clubs as each is different. The Los Angeles Reef Society (LARS) is a great club and we would love to have you. Red sea makes a nice smaller tank. Also advanced arylics is local and a frag tank could be perfect if you love the all in one shallow thing.

JBJ makes a a shallow 20 gallon rimless. Also others in the RL series.

Hey guys! I just contacted Advanced Acrylics to see if they'd be willing to do a custom order tank. They actually sell all in 1 shallow tanks, but the biggest one they have is 18.5 gal. So i asked if it'd be possible for them to make something similar to the nuvo 30L.
