Hello All,
I'm fairly new to the reef game and learning everyday as i go along. I've been in the fish game for more than 12yrs and just last year I decided to setup a 25gallon cube reef tank. Worked well from the begining since I gave my tank lots of attention and dedication. Loved my tank. I no longer have my aquarium at home as I decided to transfer the reef over to a 29gallon at my mothers place in Los Angeles,CA. Why you might ask? My mother has had some problems with her health and has been rushed to the ER in three seperate occasions. Diagnosis has been set as anxiety /Stress relating to being worry about too many things that have gone wrong in her life. Thats when I decided to place the reef in her home for her to relax and have something to care for as i'm no longer around and my brother has his own life and no time for her anymore. I visit weekly and get to perform its necessary maintenance. I'm still in the process of adding life to the tank and placing a HOB refugium. I'm really in need of donations to make this tank a nice display for my mother to enjoy. At the moment i dont have pictures but will update tomorrow evening. The ER bills are coming in every week and they have total up to 5000 dollars which I'm in the process of getting them paid. She has enrolled in a few low income medical programs to help with any future medical visits. I have about 5corals in the reef but the tank looks so sad and depressing as we have a long ways to go. If any one would like to donate any easy to care for corals/macro algea for refugium- that'll be great. I can pickup tonight as I'm going to visit her tomorrow morning. text at 323-215-6922 and i'll pickup anywere close to Anaheim CA 92802.
