Help purple tang stopped eating!

So i switched over to a new tank and i guess there isnt any algae for him to graze on but it was eat nls pellets and spirulina brine shrimps. I got some noro but its not going for it, its just chilling by the rocks. Hes starting to get skinny, is there anything to spark his appetite?

When you say switched, you mean you transferred everything from one tank to another. If so, have you tested your parameters?

Yeah everythings fine. It was eating everything the first 2 weeks but it stopped going for the pellets and frozen.

I think Just leave the fish alone, or buy some seawee with garlic paper. I have tried it and it work well

Peter, I don't think I've ever had a fish not take live black worms. I don't know that it's a long term solution but maybe you could use them til he starts eating other things

I would try feeding it some of its favorite foods, or try some frozen foods. Hate to say it but when an established fish suddenly shows decrease in appetite, it's usually not the food but something else at play here, possibly an illness of some sort. If u can't see anything visibly wrong with him, I'd just continue to try enticing him with food in hopes he can fight off whatever is troubling him.

Also, Howre other tank mates? U can also try live brine shrimp. Dunno ur location but Age of aquariums always has them,

Do you guys think putting him in a tank by himself to target feed him easier is a good idea or will stressing it make it worse..?
