Help with apex commands?

So I have two pumps in my dt I have set to Osc 3 seconds on 3 seconds off.
Works great.
I want the pumps to only oscillate when the dt lights r on. I already tried
When lights on = on
When lights off = off
No bueno
Am I doing something wrong here?

Try doing it using profiles

Do you run your lights with your apex?

If so try this....

If Time XX:XX to XX:XX Then PF1

Replace XX with the time your lights are on, and PF1 would be your pump profile.

EDIT: Actually I think this would work even if your lights arent on your Apex, just set the time to the same time your light come on and off at.

So this sounded easier & it worked it shutting off pumps tonight.
Dt lights were already off.
? Is will they return to oscillating when light turn back on?
