I can't get the color, its gold striped, yellow crazy center, with like a dark blueish purple back drop.

I know you like palys!

well, im not gumbii But i can tell they need high light to get the color you want, i have my colony in high light/high flow, just a tip. :)

yes, it has a name already, just dont remember.
I got mine from Vivid's aquarium about 3 years ago, the colony has about 15 and they've been slow growers for me but for the size i can tell mines are HUGE!!

Hey Liz! Nice! Putting up the powermodule this evening! Its about 8" off the sand on a rock. The colors are really deep. The cell phone camera sucks. ***OH I see what you mean liz when I said I can't get the color... I meant on the camera... I think thats what you meant...

What are they called? I got it from Daniel as usual a lil while ago.

Also, I think I have the Paradise Zoas that are from you. Did Miko12 ever buy a frag from you? I aquired his when he broke down his tank, they were melting and not open. After a month, one polyp opened, now I have 6. They are super tiny but incredible. High light seems good on these as well?

when i got them they were really white center but under jorge's tank lightning, which is 2x400 4x54 t5s the center turned bright yellow.
If im not mistaken Daniel got one from us while ago and about the paradise, yes Miko12 got them from us.
mines do good under high light/high flow but i also have an extra frag under low light/low flow and they're also doing good, maybe if you try to put them under low light/low flow?? have you tried that ?

hi cody... great thread LOL...

man, i can't remember what those were called... they were like emerald sunrise paly, or something like that... another site had them as speckled green implosions, but these are different than green implosions... these get HUGE!!...




btw... instead of saturating the hell out of a bad coral pic light that, start by filtering out the white and exposure first... you see how you destroyed the live rock and everything look ridiculously pink..? that's not good... that picture could be easily filtered better... hold on let me try...

I took the original WB all the way down, as well as the exposure. Added a touch of contrast, but didn't even touch saturation. So, if you look at Jorges picture, are they brown skirts like that? What are those called? is the center orange or yellow or something?

Thanks guys. Yeah mine have a solid yellow center but obviously can't tell in the pick, and they aren't that color brown but that may be do to lighting. The look in between the pics on zoaid.com.

I've got two polyps right now, they are decent sized but not huge so hoping they turn out like yours Liz and Jorge since they came from you! :beer:

yes, those were the black zoas i got from you :( they melted on me... let me know if you get some more! :D
