Reef: $1200, I can do that cheaper I thought.
Today have 30g reef for $420 dollar total lol:laugh:

Ok so i may have a question now. Ive had my tank cycling for about a week now. im still goin to wait another week b for i put anything in it and test my water. What would u recommed as a good starter to put in my tank..just snails and crabs first?

If you can add another week would be nice, yes some clean up crew namely snail and hermit crabs, re-test the water again if no spike or un-usual things start with some inexpensive fish like chromis, what ever you do do not put Damsel in your tank.


BTW what's the tank size?

I have a 12 gal nano cube...why no damsels?

3, I have a 65gal with about 12 cichlids, a 10 gal with some baby cichlids and whoever gets the crap beat out of them. I just started a small 10 gal reef tank, its more like 7 gals. I put a diveder in and have the water fall over some foam material and bio balls then its in the refugium part with live sand a 3 pieces of live rock with 2 kinds of macro algae. 600 gph pump. 2 17w T8 flourecent tubes with 2 moon lights (these moon lights are sweet cause everything glows at night) I have a kenya tree, polyps, mushrooms and some star colony. All are frags and really small.
4, I've had fresh water tanks off/on since i was 12. Ive had community tanks and now cichlids. the cichlids are pissing me off because they beat the crap out of each other( i know iknow should of thought of that before i started with them, i did its just old now.)I still love watching them, just not the occasional changing fish around so no one dies.Just started a reef tank about 2 weeks ago. I love it!!!!! I want to change my 65gal into a reef tank in november.
