I would just call a LFS nearest you. I know Coral Gazers will do it for you, they're one of our sponsors, but they are in Tustin, CA. Welcome to SCR.

Welcome! Don't have an answer for you but my first call would be to an LFS. They might have relationships with other vendors that can do the job if they don't do it themselves. +1 for Coral Gazers...but be prepared for the torture of all the sweet livestock that you can't buy yet because your tank isn't cycled.

I went and asked a few places and there charging me $120 to buff it out is that a normal price? it's more than what I paid for got the tank for $45 in that case I would just go buy a new one

I know the wait is killing me already and I haven't even started :)

Also what's a good RODI heard the filter-guys sell good stuff any input?

Buff it yourself. Some sandpaper (start off at 320 grit, 400, 600, 1000, 1500) then finish off with some novus. Cost you about $25.

Check out youtube for a tutorial

Welcome!!!

You should just buff it out yourself, I got my daughter a free acrylic tank on cl and I sat one Saturday with a good movie and sanded it with the finest car sander grit I could find 2000 grit in my hubbys garage and then buffed it with novus... Brand new tank!

Hubby told me not to use the drill because I would burn holes in it...lol So it was all done by hand 55 g
